Here is a new draw with me video for you! 💌 I recently got a new screen protector with a paperfeel texture and some metal nibs for my Apple Pencil, and I use them for the first time in this video! I’ve been curious about them for forever, and I give you guys an honest review while I draw:)

I know this is an older video but I figured I’d just add some extra perspective. So, I bought into the paper feel protectors, except I got the magnetic ones that you can easily put on or take off. The main reason I did this was because my regular apple tip from Apple not knock off brands, were scratching my bare screen. I actually ended up having my screen replaced at the Apple Store bc I just couldn’t deal with knowing scratches were there. Upsetting! Anyway, what’s very interesting is after about 2 to 3 weeks of use, the paper screen protector actually smooths out to the point where it doesn’t even have much of a “paper like” texture anymore. Also, I got kinda tired of the metal nib pencil tips oddly enough. I loved it initially and I still do for certain things. But overall, I feel like I prefer the regular apple tips. For me, I love my protector. Mainly because I’m not going to fork out for another screen replacement. lol. But I do prefer the regular nibs now. I’m just too heavy handed I guess. I think it all depends on what you’re used to. I made these changes very early on in my digital drawing journey. If you have developed muscle memory with your iPad and pencil, I’d say stick to what you know! But just be aware of potential scratches, bc it will happen over time!
