In the other series, a powerful silver-haired demon is escaping some enemies and as a last result flees to the human world and plants itself in the womb of a pregnant lady. They are then reborn as a human/demon hybrid with red hair. The parallels are just too similar not to note. (Also wanted to add that Kite, a powerful silver-haired hunter, is forced to flee to a womb in the midst of a losing battle and is reborn as an ant which is a hybrid of both human/animal)

He actually has a crazy slot he can use if his is will is strong enough to reincarnate himself basically when he’s on the verge of death, he calls it the “Like hell I’m gonna die slot” which we saw against Pitou.
