[Post Card] It Got Us~!!!

Hey y’all,

This month Buka Chan and Zuri Sama got Covid. And for the last week, we’ve been laying in bed recovering, and it really sucks. Literally not being able to do anything has been the worst. If Covid was a tentacle monster, the whole experience would have been a lot better we think.

Unknown Sen also updated us that their available time for Memento will need to be significantly reduced. Like a lot! They are still committed to working on Memento, but finding the time is going to be challenging for them with their new responsibilities.

So next month, we’re going to continue our break again! Making up for the time we’ve lost and adjusting our plans according to changes. We’re hoping it’ll be the last month we take a break, so keep your fingers crossed that something silly doesn’t happen again.

Is there any good news?

Surprisingly, yes!

The team has been talking a lot about the Vertical Slice and the projects that follow, looking ahead to help us determine what kinds of “roleplaying” games we are trying to create.

It’s been challenging, figuring out what we need to do to give the Vertical Slice a clearer direction that fits our naughty strengths, while still creating something fun and interesting for y’all.

But we’ve learned so much in the last few months, and we’re excited to say we’re really starting to nail it down. Though it’s very likely the Vertical Slice is going to be different from what we originally set out to do, to help us hit our long-term goals.

So to make sure we can do it all, we’ll be using our break next month to continue preparations. We’ll be setting the Patreon page on hiatus again next month, meaning no existing Patrons will be charged at the start of next month.

It’s taking a while, but we’re getting there. But we hope y’all excited about what’s coming.
