[Development] Setting the Scene #2~!!!

This week I continued to prototype Oat Pi Park, while we worked out some of the texturing details we need to do for Bill’s Chibi model.
I managed to flesh out two new areas to help start planning new dialogue and scenes for the stories we’re working on.
And here are those two areas I did this week.
Lovers Falls, is a quiet little spot for couples to sit and snuggle while watching the Oat Pi Park waterfall.
The Picnic Corner is a place for visitors to eat and drink refreshments, or sit down and flirt with a date you’re meeting up with.
And this is the design I made before I started all this, showing the full layout of Oat Pi Park.
The first pass is the sketch of ideas I wanted to have, with lots of curvy areas and paths.
The second pass constrains all the curves into straight lines because of limitations to do with art and gameplay, doing as much as I can to maintain the first pass's feel. It’s also where I marked potential story ideas and NPCs.
