[News] It's been 6 YEARS~!!!

Hey y’all,

It’s our Birthday! And to our surprise, Zuripai Games has been running for 6 years.

So much has happened in that time. Around development, our lives, and adult content creation itself. There were a few moments we thought “this is it, it’s over”, but somehow we’ve managed to keep going despite all that.

There have been a lot of things to get through, and no matter how hard it has been, the excitement for what we are doing only grows with each step we make upwards.

And for the past few months, we’ve been getting ourselves ready. Working through everything we’ve accumulated these last 6 years. All the notes, posts, stories, and decisions we’ve made to figure out what exactly we want to do at Zuripai Games.

Our development cycle hasn’t always been stable. Even when we make great strides to get projects moving, we’ve tended to fall between the gaps of our inexperience.

So what will we be doing in our 7th year as Zuripai Games to change all that?

This year, we’d like to give ourselves a fresh start. We'll be resetting back to where it all began, taking the last 6 years of experience, doing something we know very well, and doing it better.

We’re going back to Paizuri University.

We’re going to give it a complete do-over. Taking all of our improvements to art, story writing, and production and giving it the polish we’ve always wanted to give it, plus a little more.

It means no more short stories or pin-ups, but it does mean a bigger and longer version of Paizuri University.

What about the Paizuri Park vertical slice?

The Paizuri Park vertical slice will be worked on alongside Paizuri University, but we’ll be taking our time with its production. We want to iron out issues and nail down everything we can with its design, story, characters, and roleplaying systems to make sure we have a good, clear idea about what we’re making before getting ahead of ourselves.

With all that being said, we’re not going to start the Patreon page next month. There is still so much to organize and prepare, so we’ll be putting our Patreon page on hiatus again to help us with all that, before kicking everything off in March. 

So expect a few changes to the page and reward tiers as well. We'll be keeping y'all up to date.
