We've just updated the textures for the Life & Death EP and the latest patch.

Hi! Will the textures be added soon for the Life and Death pack? I love the clothes in the pack and would love to use them in my Not So Berry Challenge. Thanks for all you do!

If you check the top of that UI BE notification, you'll see that it says "Detection Type: ALL UI mods". That means it could have been anything (even the game itself), as BE will list every UI mod installed when it can't determine what caused the issue. If you are consistently having this notification, please go to Sims After Dark for general game help as it's not caused by Color Sliders. http://discord.gg/simsafterdark

BE giving notification. It said "The following UI Mods may have been responsible for your UI Exception. Make sure they are all updated, or removed if a working update is not available. If the mod is a multi-file mod, be sure to update or remove all files."

There is not. Your only option would be to maybe duplicate and merge the packages, delete anything not a texture, batch convert the LRLE. But I don't know how well that would work or if any issues could arise.

Is there any known way to batch convert cc clothes from RLE2 to LRLE? Doing so one package at a time in S4S is almost impossible with large amounts of CC.

This is a known issue with CC eyebrows, we're not sure why it's doing that.

Hi! I just downloaded the mod, but when I go into Cas, the thumbnail for the eyebrows aren't showing. :(

After you download the UI file, you download the EA texture packages from the Google Drive link. CC has to be made compatible by the creator or on your end. Sims4Studio has a batch fix option for hair, otherwise everything else has to be manually made compatible. Do i have to download something more than the pancake file? the sliders are there but not working...

Do you mean Custom Content (CC)? Creators have to make it compatible themselves, or you can do it yourself, and it will work with the sliders. Sims4Studio has a batch fix option for hair, otherwise everything else has to be manually adjusted. Make sure your game is actually updated to 1.101 (can't use old versions on new patches and vice versa), clear your localthumbcache and avatarcache (tutorial: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2014/09/delete-cache-files/), and make sure you don't have old versions installed, and only one version installed. If still having issues refresh your Sims 4 folder, tutorial: https://www.patreon.com/posts/diy-library-part-60354063 Someone else came in with a similar issue and a refresh was the only thing that solved it as it was a game issue.

Hello! I wanted to thank you for your quick responses and updates for your mods. Its really impressive! I absolutely love Color Sliders! I downloaded the new UI v2H package for More Columns and I still cannot enter CAS without removing Color Sliders from my mod folder. I don't know if its connect but the regular v2H file is 772 kb when I downloaded for comparison while the More Column version is only 159 kb. Maybe completely unconnected but I redownloaded the file because I thought it looked small and that maybe there was a download error. If this is a case of operator error--my apologies and would appreciate a heads up. Thank you!

It means CAS clothing, etc. overrides that include the original EA textures because the creator edited them, or doesn't know to remove unused files when overriding for mesh issues, etc. Recolor added as swatches are not going to conflict because they are new, but they will not work with the sliders without being manually converted by you or the creator (if they were done by the creator, will say "Color Slider compatible" usually). CAS backgrounds are not a CAS item or UI file, they are an object, so will not conflict. Disablers are usually tuning files so will not conflict.

Hello! What exactly does the "EA CAS overrides" include? Can I use a mod that changes the CAS room/space into sims 2 style? What about mods that make EA clothes disabled for random so npc's don't get generated with them, will that conflict? I suppose mods that add recolor swatches for EA hairs or eyebrows is going to conflict? Thank you in advance♡

Tried a browser I don't use often, so is vanilla and downloading works there. So it must be settings on my end. Thank you for the awesome mod!

I cannot get the google drive folder of textures to allow me to download them. It attempts to zip the folder or folders, says it successfully zipped them but does not download. I have never had this problem before so I don't think its my browser, though I will investigate more on my end. Could you confirm that the drive allows downloads on your end?

Sorry for the late reply. All missing categories (other than teeth) were added as of February 19th's update and are available going forward. We need to add the newest Grow Together patch scars/skin detail categories next update.

Could we have color sliders enabled for all the other CAS categories? I converted all my textures to LRLE and just sad they are left out (=. Love your work btw.

Hello! thanks for this wonderful mod, i really couldn't play without it Since the previous patch when I use this mod it deletes the thumbnails of the eyebrows cc I deleted all my mods and only put this one to see if the problem was another mod but it only happened with this mod, is there any way to fix it?:c

Hi! I've been running into a slight issue with this mod where it causes almost all of the CAS thumbnails for my cc eyebrows to disappear - I've tried taking everything out of my game except for my cc eyebrows and this mod, but I am still running into the issue. CC hairs have to be enabled by creators or with Sims4Studio's batcher. The sliders will automatically work once the hairs are converted to the proper format.

You need the folders that are labeled with the packs you have installed if you want the color sliders to work for those game items in cas

Thank you for the update. I'm a little confused about it, though. Do the !!thepancake1_ColorSliders_Patches_All packages replace the folders such as "Backyard Stuff" in Google Drive or do I still need all the folders, too?

Yes, you would need all of them because they are patches, they fix and provide updates. Either way, Color Sliders UI is not updated yet so it's best to not download the files now, and we will also be releasing a texture file update and overhaul soon after, so you'd be repeating your steps.

You need to download any packs you own whose items you want recolored, and all the patches are required because they are updates to some files and to add new hairs from EA base game updates. Without the patches you will see texture weirdness on some hairs, etc. Make sure to not download in large groups as these can corrupt the files.

Hi I just have a quick question. I'm just getting this mod so do I also need to get all the other files for the separate packs that are in the folders including thepancake1_ColorSliders_Patches_All or just thepancake1_ColorSliders_Patches_All because it already includes all those folders in that package.... if that makes sense. Hi! Thank you for this mod!! I just became a patron because I just realized how superb this mod is for Berry gameplays and I want to fully support your time and effort on this mod. Even if it won't work on cc hair recolors, it's already a huge help to be able to get many new colors I want on EA hair. So thank you again.

Did you download the files in large batches? Try smaller batches, as large downloads can be interrupted and become corrupted. Also the base game folder will only enable base game items to be recolorable, other packs must be downloaded to be recolorable if you own them. Make sure you are also not using More Clubs Per Sim as they conflict.
