If you check the top of that BE does it say "Detection Type: ALL UI mods".? That means it could have been anything (even the game itself), as BE will list every UI mod installed when it can't determine what caused the issue. Hi, I've been using this mod no problem and then all of a sudden it stopped working? I get the notification saying things are missing in CAS and when I open it up, I only have the three showing even when making a new Sim. It started after I updated Better Build Buy so I thought that was the problem but the problem still consisted even after taking it out to check.

Guys be patient, modding and creating scripts takes time. the patch dropped no more than 24hrs ago which mean they're aware and working on it.

Expansion isn't released yet and neither is the related patch, so there's no way to tell until that patch arrives. For future reference you can always check the latest mod news on the front page via the "Mod Status for Patch #" posts. Do you mean they keep disappearing when you get in-game? Check the "Why do the extra traits not stay after exiting CAS?" section of the mod info for info on that. -thepancake1

Only way that happens is with an alternate file installed that is overriding ours, such as Chingyu's More Traits.

It's been fixed for a while. Please delete your old files and download the newest update, clear your localthumbcache and avatarcache (tutorial: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2014/09/delete-cache-files/). If still experiencing issues, you have a different UI mod causing issues or are on an outdated game version. Not sure if you missed my previous message but I explained it in your previous post, "Detection Type: ALL UI Mods" means it can't figure what the cause is and is likely an EA error or regular mod (like traits) you encountered, as again it is working fine in our game with no errors. Make sure to clear your avatarcache and localthumbcache if you don't regularly as those files can hold old info, and make sure your regular trait mods are fully updated and working. That still sounds like a conflict, so you will need to 50/50. Be aware that there might be other mods we haven't checked yet that can conflict, like possibly the new Dark Mode mod.

The mod is constantly in my folder when I load the game and I do not get BEs from it, so it sounds like BE can't figure out the issue from an EA error (which it does encounter too) and is listing all the UI mods you have, which if this is the only one then that is the only one that will show. The detection type is called "Detection Type: ALL UI Mods".

i cant get the trait slots to show up, like i still have 3 for adults. i have the regular version bc i dont have the more traits mod. am i missing a step? the file is in the mods folder. and i dont have any of the conflicting mods or files.

Be aware that if BE can't figure out what is causing a UI issue, it lists ALL the UI mods you have, which if this is the only one it will be the only one in the list. The detection type is called "Detection Type: ALL UI Mods" Also be aware that it catches EA UI errors too and will result in the same message. Since I have BE in my game as well and we have not received other reports, so it's very likely an EA error you are getting and can be ignored.

Clear your localthumbcache and avatarcache (https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2014/09/delete-cache-files/), make sure there are no older versions of the mod in your folder, and check that your other UI mods like CC wrenches or UI cheats are updated.

They edit the same file, so likely whichever is first in your folder is blocking the other from properly working. If you've been using More Traits without issues, then likely the disappearing features would be on More Clubs side, probably in a section of the UI you just haven't noticed yet.

for some odd reason my extra traits aren't staying on my sims i spent some time updating most my households just for the traits to be removed after leaving the game and getting back on (edit* just realized i downloaded the 2nd file and not the first one maybe thats my issue)

Mod was already updated right after the patch, FYI, and a new one for different issues has just been published. When checking for updates/statuses, always check our newest post as it will list what's broken/needing updates. And then when mods are updated we list them in the same status post, while also updating the original post with the updates, which is described at the top of the post under "Updates". If you are still experiencing visual issues, take out your wrench mod, check for old versions, and clear your localthumbcache and avatarcache.

Hi! The mod is causing a glitch in CAS where all the question marks are replaced by the Preferences icon. Also, the Aspiration Categories tooltip has a glitch on its background.

I've discovered that this mod conflicts with Sotaru's AgeMatters, even with only those two mods. The traits are able to be added via CAS, but once reloading the extra traits are gone. I have read the conflicts and I did install the correct one without Chingyu's compatibility, as I do not have their MoreTraits mod.

It is More Columns, All Scenarios, Color Sliders, and...think that's it so far? causing the CAS bugs, but not More Traits in CAS, and it also has no effect on orientation so that's likely something else in your game. Please remember to take out ALL mods after patch days unless they have been cleared or updated, and clear your localthumbcache and avatarcache when adding/removing mods.

i think this or the more columns mod are messing wiht the new update for sexual orientation as i cant use it and those two are the only cas mods i have installed excluding cc however cc does not impact gameplay unless its build cc and i'm talking abt cas cc. it also has broken ui, but i can still use it as i could before the update EDIT: its a miuxture of both lol, ui was more columns, this mod is probably the reason i cant use sexual orientation EDIT2: removed this mod, still cant use it lol

I suspect this mod might be the culprit behind the fact that my werewolves have more temperaments than they should be able to have. It seems that increasing the number of trait slots also increases the number of temperaments werewolves can have.

Hello! Just wanted to let you know that the More Traits mod has stopped working for me. I tried reinstalling it incase I had an older version and tried it in my game with no other mods installed but it is still not working and only shows the three normal trait slots. Don't know if anyone else has reported this issue but thought I would let you know!

for example, toddlers only keep one trait because that is the one that ea coded for them. so when I choose another trait for them it doesn't add it onto it.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that this mod is currently not working with the new update. Whenever I go into CAS, the trait slots are there and so are the traits I chose to put in them but as soon as I leave CAS, the only traits that stay are the amount that are automatically designated to every age group in the Sims 4.
