Limping Walkstyle - v1a (Public Release Feb 4th)

This Teen to Elder base game compatible limp walkstyle was a commission someone wanted so they could roleplay for when sims were injured, but it does not apply in-game automatically or acknowledge in-game injuries. It's just a standalone walkstyle you can enable at any point when you want. In the future we may expand the mod to acknowledge those, but other modders are also free to contact us to have this referenced or more in their mod though!

How does it work?

Requires XML Injector! Download it from here or on Curseforge.

Base game compatible, no packs required.

To activate the walkstyle, enable testingcheats first like normal (tutorial here if you're new), then Shift + Left Click the sim you want to limp and find the "Enable Limp Walkstyle" interaction. Select this and then the sim will keep using it until you deactivate it. To stop the sim from limping, Shift + Left Click the sim again after activating cheats, then find the "Disable Limp Walkstyle".

It behaves like other walkstyles in the game, so traversing stairs, platforms, etc. will temporarily stop the walkstyle so they can get where they need to, then it starts again. It takes priority over things like default walks, emotional, etc. but will not take priority over pregnancy, the pee walk, possessed, vampire running, jog, and a few misc ones.
