I wish people wouldn't make it seem like Xander's worse because at least Willow already had a crush on him before, as if that's so much better when she has a boyfriend who very clearly loves her. I wish people would just admit that it's clear bias instead of actual justification on how one is somehow worse than the other in this scenario...

2025-01-10 14:48:51 +0000 UTCWe finally meet the Mayor of Sunnydale. Somehow he is exactly what you expected and not at all what you were expecting. Why do people always forget all the awful things Cordelia says to Buffy, especially in this episode. I don’t think she deserves better than Xander, I think they deserve each other. I know, unpopular opinion. You kept saying that Buffy would breakup with Scott only because Angel came back despite all the trauma caused by their relationship. It’s in the tradition of the show of subverting expectations that Scott is the one to breakup with her and the particular brand of humor of te writers how the scene was written. Others have already said everything there’s to say about Xander and Willow.

2025-01-09 21:21:59 +0000 UTCWillow & Xander together feels so very wrong, I always cringe at their scenes 'together' 🤮 & unrelated, I love the song that plays during Buffy's homecoming queen campaign montage, I think the showrunners leaned away from using popular music to avoid dating the show too much but whenever I hear it IRL I'm always reminded of this episode 🥰
