The best episode of the season so far. When you said that we wouldn’t have the fourth episode we were promised I was disappointed. But you stated the best reason for needing a break from the show. So it’s all good.

2025-01-16 22:24:20 +0000 UTCspike is honestly delulu for thinking that after dru woke up they'd be back to normal- he literally betrayed her and went behind her back to keep her from being able to do something she was REALLY excited about. the last time we see them they're fighting and spike chokes her unconscious and drives off with her. he really truly isn't demon enough for the likes of her, she's right. someone demon enough for the likes of her wouldn't be trying to keep the world from ending and teaming up with the slayer to do it. his reasoning doesn't matter, he didn't want the world to end and that's anti-demon. in the pilot giles describes all vampires as "waiting for the animals to die out, and the old ones to return". they want a fully demon world again, whereas spike doesn't. he DID go soft. i love spike, this isn't bashing him, but i love dru wayyy more, she deserves someone as powerful and evil as her. spike just isn't that.
