Shameimaru Aya was the first card we ever wrote errata for. For those of you who have only played Danmaku!!’s base game, her Ability got limited to once per turn afterwards. That hasn’t changed in Big Box.

Kazami Yuuka fertilizes the flowers of Gensokyo with the corpses of her enemies. This flower master embodies the true essence of Danmaku!! with her Spell Card that resembles a blooming, deadly flower.

Onozuka Komachi is the last remaining card that refers to the order of the discard pile. The others were removed because we found out players can’t keep the discard pile ordered. With a search depth of 7 it shouldn’t be an issue if the last few cards are out of order. Komachi’s spell card is a good example of the power of timing. It doubles up an attack you thought you avoided. Nasty.

Shiki Eiki isn’t having any of this hidden role nonsense. She plays her role proudly out in the open. Her Spell Card lets her judge others with consequences, which would make her quite fearsome if Gensokyo had the internet.

Special bonus for our Lunatic tier: Midboss Ascended isn’t one particular Midboss. It’s all midbosses! This character card features Inaba Tewi in her black dress and is quite strong. Even if you’re not playing with Mobs I encourage you to include this character card and let the player choose from the sidebar.
