2025-07-13 02:02:09 +0000 UTCCharisma Carpenter/Cordelia just released a new show on YouTube called The Bitch is Back. She mentioned this is the first time she staked a vamp because she requested it.

2025-02-28 17:53:02 +0000 UTCI can't believe my subscription ran out right in the middle of this episode. At least now I can finally finish it. Love you making a War of the Worlds reference, one of my absolute favourite Sci-Fi films (the original 1953 movie that is, not the remake). :D

Chance's House Of Horror
2025-02-22 08:13:48 +0000 UTCSeason might seem longer because it took 7 weeks for your watch through, as opposed to the 4 weeks for season 2.

2025-02-21 04:46:35 +0000 UTCYeah unfortunately it’s confirmed later on that Larry was killed when the Mayor swiped him. Also it’s super quick in the corner of the shot when the kids bum rush the vampires but Harmony got eaten by a vamp too

2025-02-21 00:54:00 +0000 UTCBoth Cordelia "and" Wesley mutually realized that they had no chemistry after they kissed, lol. That's what made it more funny.

2025-02-21 00:29:03 +0000 UTCStrangely erotic? What gave you that idea? Was it the moaning, Buffy crushing a metal object in seeming throes of passion, Buffy wrapping her leg around Angel's waist, or was it the moment when Buffy kicked a table across the room at the 'peak' of her passion whilst being penetrated by Angel's metaphorical penis, sorry I mean 'fangs'. ;D

2025-02-20 23:48:31 +0000 UTCI've just started to watch the reaction, but with what I was saying in the last episode about the idea of shadow selves, Buffy also sometimes deals with the idea of self actualisation in the way it portrays different characters and relationships. The Mayor/Faith and Buffy/Giles relationship dynamic is a good example of this. Giles has already had his 'bad boy' screw duty, screw the world, I'm going to be selfish and do everything for myself phase, until he ended up learning the hardest of lessons when he saw his friend horribly killed by a demon he helped raise. Part of self actualisation can be seen as both being given the opportunity to make, and then learn from our mistakes, leading to an internal understanding and acceptance that things can and will happen, and we have the ability to work through those things in a healthy manner. Because of experiences like this we don't really see Giles constantly wagging his finger at Buffy and saying 'bad slayer, don't do it this way, do it my way', or we see him approaching the use of magic with a lot more balance and respect (such as his attempts to hide texts from Willow that he doesn't consider he ready for, or only performing spells when necessary). In contrast the Mayor gave up his soul well before he gave himself any chance to achieve self actualisation, so anything he might have learned is always tinged with that.

2025-02-20 23:39:04 +0000 UTCI always cry at the battle scenes for some reason, it warms my heart to watch these literal children band together to fight a common enemy ♥️ Plus the score always manipulates my emotions LOL the music is such great quality especially for TV at the time

2025-02-20 21:11:57 +0000 UTCThis was another episode that was pulled from the schedule because of Columbine. It was set to air on May 25th only 4 weeks after the shooting. 2 hours before it's air time the WB suddenly pulled it and replaced it with a rerun. We had to wait until July 13th to actually see it. There was a lot of fan outrage and Joss Whedon even encouraged American audiences to pirate copies from Canada where it had aired as scheduled.

2025-02-20 18:07:38 +0000 UTCThe show’s aired like this Buffy 8pm Angel 9pm. When I watched the show 25 years ago I had the same idea that the mayor had a child, he talked about his wife and out living her . Can’t wait for your reaction to Angel, it’s a darker show and Angel is much cooler
