全く関係ないのですが、虫の吐く糸で服作るって発想、改めて考えるとなんだかファンタジー世界の話のようで面白いなと今更思ってます。カイコと絹の話です。カイコが桑の葉しか食べないのも呪術感。最初に実用化した人どんな人なんでしょう。魔法の秘術みたい。自分は養蚕が身近だったこと一瞬もありませんでしたが、少し前までは普通に農家の2階とかで育ててたのかと思うと不思議な感じがします。

Completely unrelated, but I've been thinking about how making clothes from the silk worms produce is quite a fantastical concept when you really think about it. The whole idea of silkworms and silk. That silkworms eat nothing but mulberry leaves has a kind of sorcery feel to it. I wonder about the person who first made it practical. It seems like a magical secret art. I've never had anything to do with sericulture myself, but it's strange to think that not so long ago, it was common for farmers to raise them, perhaps on the second floor of their homes.
