We never got Ep.3, but I've always wondered, what if after finding them on Borealis, Alyx built some kind of hazard suit for her own? Take catsuit and flak jacket from assassins, Long Fall Boots prototype from Borealis storage (Borealis is Aperture's ship, FYI) - et voila! Definately better than running thru the snow in hoodie and leather jacket fixed with duck tape. Also, Gordon will surely approve!
