Added 2020-10-12 16:00:08 +0000 UTCOk, so I'm trying a new method of shadowing - via multiplying layers. Feels a lot like skulpting, let's see where this will get us!

Longer, but it gives more consistent and realistic result, since you're drawing shadow as one element, which overlays all colors beneath it. Other method is manually painting each flat color segment, trying to match nearby segments of other colors.
