I hope you all are getting some sun during these hot summer months. Before you know it, we'll be back in Autumn (my personal favorite season). So enjoy ice-cream trucks while they last!
For this painting, I wanted to stick as close to a complimentary color scheme as possible -- yellow and purple. It was a lot harder than expected. The urge to just slap down the entire rainbow on the piece appeared multiple times. Luckily I could always tweak back the hues to reflect a lemony-grape goodness
