St7 Environment, Blog Post, & July 20th Announcement

The following post contains assets and conceptual art for Story 7 (no major spoilers).

Firstly, I'd like to announce an announcement: 

Big news will be arriving on July 20th regarding Story #0!

That's all I'm allowed to say about it, so expect a bunch of exciting things to come in the next Patreon post 2 weeks from now.

Story 7 Update

Since the animatic is mostly done, these past 2 weeks I've been doing more "office work" type tasks for St.7:

• Budgeting/Schedule - DONE
• Researching Merch - Almost Done
• Recruiting Artists & Contracts - Almost Done

A good amount of concept art and drawing was done too - more related to the overall look & feel of the production. This time, we're going for an airy, dry ambience. That means zero-to-little blues or purples, two colors that I relied on heavily for Vs Oxob.

The merch portion will be of interest to you guys, and I'm open to your feedback on the what I'll mail to Patrons when this new animation comes out.

I'm gearing toward premium Trading/Collectible Cards, as they will may more reliably reach their destinations than keychains. To ensure that the previous stories are "covered", I'd also make Story 0-6 cards available somehow.

Some warmup sketches of our 3 main characters. The animation phase is coming soon, so I need to get familiar with the new character models.

3D Model of the colosseum - this will be useful for laying out difficult camera angles and keeping characters & backgrounds the right size.

We found several bugs within the first few minutes, but that's just part of the fun.
