One of my favorite X-men comics is issue #143, which features Kitty Pryde home alone at the Xavier Mansion on Christmas. Obviously, she doesn't celebrate Christmas, because she's Jewish, which makes total sense why she doesn't go with the rest of the team. This was always a book I would like to read around Christmas as a teen. Then of course my day-dreaming would drift into your typical teenage lust for young Kitty, who was about my age at the time. Not of the publication but of that period when I was enamored with this book and her. This was about the time the tub of Land O' Lakes would go missing from the frig. Luckily for me, I did my own laundry, so mom wouldn't discover the aftermath.
