Yeah, there is the liscencing issue; however, that can easily be skirted by making dolls that look just like existing characters, but just calling them something else. Example, you could make a big green muscular sex doll and call her. The Green Girl. We all know it's She-Hulk, but it isn't specifically named. Just order a cosplay costume and wig and there you go. Now you have a Shulkie doll. I guess you could do that for pre-existing dolls. Take a base body, just like a real girl, dress her up as Rogue with cosplay items, just like a real girl and you have a Rogue doll. Oh, if I only had money.

They already make sex dolls that look like actual porn stars, and ones that look like anime characters, ones that look like cartoon characters is a logical next step. The only problem I see would be getting the legal licencing required from whoever owns the rights to those characters. But perhaps older, no longer popular/known characters, such as Princess Ariel from Thundarr the Barbarian, or Tara from the Herculoids, would be easier to get licencing for; I dunno...
