Plans for April

Release schedule experiment was a failure, but in my defense, March was not a good month for me. I was taking l's left and right irl, if you pardon my zoomer speak. Had to move to a different apartment, problems at my main work, etc. But that doesn't mean I wasn't working on the games, just prioritized translating instead of motivation-draining stuff like proofreading.

So, with that out of the way, here's where we at in regards to different translation projects I'm working on.

Exorcist Chris

Almost done. The last remaining image with Japanese text edited, first proofreading pass finished. Final playtest next week.

I could release it right now and say it's completed, but the game is rather finicky, and I want the translation to be as close to perfection as possible.

Pandara Quest

I'd say it's 70% translated. The game is rather small, so I decided not to release incremental patches. Just the full translation when it's done.

It's going rather smoothly now, but at the start I had a bit of trouble parsing some stuff. Like I thought the femc has the name Richard, but as it turns out it was Re+Sharle, since she's sort of a reincarnation of an ancient hero.

Eternal Summer

Working on the intro/opening right now. I was planning to translate it together with the true end route ending since they're kinda connected, but it's been getting requested time and time again, so I decided to go for it. Various h-events in the residential area and library are also being worked on.

I'm hoping to have at least 90% of the game translated by the end of this month.

Silly Girls Quest

I released another tl patch just today. My plan for the first part of the month is to have the game's second chapter, the biggest one, fully translated. Full translation of the game in April is doable, but I don't want to get ahead of myself.

Puppeteer

It's kinda on hold, but I'll put it back into the roster of actively worked-on projects once I finish 1-2 games.

Valkyria

Created a rpg maker project and made a discord channel for it. No other progress to speak of here for now.

That said, I'm wondering what kind of approach I should take when translating this game. I want to make polls with the games patrons suggested more often, and I'd rather not take my time with it. So I either could do a quick and dirty translation with context-based mistakes, typos and with no proofreading, or take my usual approach. Tell me what you think in the comments.
