Sorry about the wind, but despite my wind protection it was impossible to get the recording clean.

For peoples who have no idea how different the xtreme 3 sounds against the 2, here a comparison and so the improvements are definitely there (more bass and clearer) but again not as impressive as the rockster cross :

Nice video as always... the Xtreme 3 is pretty good for its size being under 2kg even if it can’t compete with the tuefel outdoor... btw what’s the serial number of the speaker? (You should find it on one of the hooks) JBL uses different drivers for different versions of it... look at the first two letters after: “ SN: “...i think there are 2 versions at the moment, GG and NT.
I know this might look like a stupid thing, but I had 2 diffrent versions of the Xtreme 2 (once PL and once GG) and in my opinion they sounded pretty diffrent, with the GG having more dynamic bass and better mids compared to the PL. thank you.

teufel just destroyed the xteme 3 likeexpected. xtreem 3 still no competitor at that level of the teufel and costs more.

unfornatelly though the xtreme series( 2 and 3 )are one speakers at this size, being the most powerfull and convient at same time that bring such nice bass and an ok sound simoultaneously, i personally like it more over a much bommier box like the d fine, now, but i think the aiwa exos 3 might be a fitting competitor to kick ass on power and deliver a nice similar kind sound, but i won't annoy you much as i spoke about this already.

Nice comparison as always! Even with the winds i could hear your voice and both speakers pretty well.
Of i have heard, the teufel just blown the JBL away
yes the teufel is boomier, yes the teufel is a bit compressed at highers levels but keep in mind it has to be a « mini » boombox so this is the kind of sound you need : balanced, powerful, full and loud to give you pleasure outdoor
The JBL has a nice deep bass but pretty soft by lacking power and i don’t like the boosted highs which is a bit boring.
I think jbl is just decent for their patyboxes (except the On-The-go).
