Sennheiser AMBEO Smart Headset - revisited
Added 2021-01-27 10:39:57 +0000 UTCCaution: I just received a 3rd unit and it sounds again different and has some stronger imbalance. There seem to be some severe quality issues with this product, maybe therefore they are sold now for such a low price. But if you manage to get a decent unit, you will get amazing sound, I am really enjoying the IEMs with the EQ adjusted within the AMBEO app and on top you also get quite OK microphones which need some postprocessing though for really lifelike results.
I attached my EQ setting which works well for my black unit, the first white unit needs slightly different adjustment, the other white unit will be returned.

2021-03-03 14:48:55 +0000 UTCI bought a unit of these. They are no longer available on the Sennheiser web site, I bought from amazon. These are very decent, and for 60 Euros I think they are a no-brainer for someone who is, like me, just starting with recording "3D sound", how they call it. From the manual I can't tell where the "Apogee" part is, I guess perhaps the AD converters.
