Earfun UBOOM L - firmware 050
Added 2022-12-18 20:39:02 +0000 UTCSome days ago, one of you had discovered the new released 050 firmware by Earfun which is supposed to offer more bass than my tuning. I haven't even known about this, but wanted to give it a try and also let you hear how this new version sounds, which has nothing in common with my tuning. But many seem to like it, thus why should I care?
I am just disappointed because as you know I had asked Earfun if I should create a version with more bass, but with proper tuning and volume curve, etc. They didn't want to, but rather released this half hearted approach!
I need better partners in future and am thinking of quitting any collaboration with Earfun.

Yes, you can, I installed Windows 10 Pro on my Mac using Bootcamp, installed the provided application, and was able to downgrade both speakers from 0.50 to 0.43. You can just search on YouTube for something like "install windows on mac", and there will be plenty of step-by-step videos on how to install it for free.

I think the lows of the outdoor mode with the highs of the indoor mode (or highs halfway between the 2 modes) would be perfect for me. I would like to try 2 Uboom L's in stereo to see if that skews it in the direction I'm looking for.
