Mini-Beta 6.7 - Sound effects
Added 2017-05-19 19:08:18 +0000 UTCHello!
The sound feature is implemented! Yay!
I didn't insert sound everywhere because we have to choose the sounds and the tracks. This is just for testing, preparing the ground. This is what I added:
-A music on the main screen
-A stage music for the tutorial event
-A click sound for the "next" button
Please test it away! First, You have to click the mute box to turn the sounds on. I disabled the sounds as default, everytime you execute the game, the sounds will be disabled.
That's it, test, click the mute box, mark, unmark. Working with sound effect is a uncharted territory for me.
As I said, I will not insert all the sounds effects right now, the graphics takes priority. And we will get time to choose the sweetest effects and music tracks for each event. Of course, the audio files must be freeware or shareware. And I need to know the author/creator to credit them in the game.
Let me know what you think!

2017-05-24 01:13:49 +0000 UTCI liked the results very much, it really adds a lot for the game. I am still trying to find others ways to expand the experience. I want it to run in every kind of browser without needing a flash player. And I also want to port it to android. It's tough so far, flash have some serious limitations and no real chance for updates. That's why this will be my last project on it. The next game will be made on unity 3d.

2017-05-21 12:53:26 +0000 UTCThe music for the title screen and tutorial sounds great! Very much in-keeping with the actual games, both tracks totally sound like something you'd hear in the first one especially. And the "next" button sound effect is nice and satisfying too. Having the sound be muted by default is also a good choice. As Nobes mentioned though the mute button as it's positioned at the moment does get in the way of the dialogue wheel when it pops up, but you already know that. ;p So yes, certainly a very promising start for this aspect of the game indeed! This certainly shows it's going to be a very cool addition!

2017-05-20 08:31:06 +0000 UTCI can make some music and sound fx for you.
2017-05-19 21:09:54 +0000 UTCI would say the main menu music loop is a bit too fast paced for a 'sexy' game. Slower is better, and it creates more appropriate atmosphere. Button and tutorial is great! Although if you go back to menu, you still hear the tutorial music
