Whew! All the MBS's frames I have are inserted. Almost, I still have to color and add some of them, i did them later and I forgot to finish them.

I updated the navigation screen, the screen you select the place to go. Tell me if you like it!

Now I will work on the harder part, the text! I am gathering all my strength to make all the missing text until next week. It's a lot of text. The guys who will spellcheck the text will have a lot of work. And with that we'll be able to test the ending of the game and make a complete playthrough, from the beginning to the end.

And I bring another important news. I think I reached the limit of what the flash program can handle. The software is acting up after these last days, I think the dozens of graphics from the MBS are the blame. Sometimes the Flash program gives me some "not enough memory" errors and everyday is getting more and more troublesome. I am looking for ways to solve that but I already used the best practices on the development. It's simply too many graphical pieces. I wasn't expecting I would break the program at all. And shrinking the graphics or lowering the quality aren't the best solutions.

But don't worry! There is no work lost or a deadlock situation. There is many ways to proceed, splitting the game files in modules is one of them. But before I do anything I need to be sure it's a software memory issue. If you have flash MX, flash 8, CS3, CS4, etc, you can help me test that. Here it is the latest FLA file:

With that you can publish a SWF file. Tell me if you can do this with no issue. This way I will be to tell if it's on my end. It's okay if it takes some 20 seconds to do it. And if you know a bit of Flash, any help is welcome.

Meanwhile I am working on the text, finishing the missing frames and planning for the another batch of graphics: Penny's MBS, the sex scenes and the endings graphics. The bio files, FMG reports and the secret event will be the next thing. And I will add the graphics and post the betas more often.

Love everything new. Too bad it's taking such a long time to add them into the game. And yeah, maybe split the game into two parts, to save up space

Yes, that will work. Just the Bio files and FMG report. The graphic and event viewer can stay with the game because they share the same files. Spliting the game in these two parts I may be bring the gallery and the small stories feature back. Porting the game to another engine isn't a good idea, we would lose a lot of control over the graphics. Most engines doesn't offer deeper controls like stop, rewind, edit the frame rate, etc.

I think it's entirely possible to split the graphic viewer off to save space. Perhaps even the entire Extras menu if need be. Just make it a side thing. Would it be possible to port the game into one of those visual novel engines? That might be something worth looking into.

Working in the text requires a lot of attention and it's not very fun watching to a huge wall of text. And the worse part its after hours working on that, all the effort will just give some couple of minutes of gameplay. Maybe I am a very slow writer. I found some people willing to help with the flash issue. It looks it's really a flash issue, it's too many large graphics. But it's easy to fix and no content will have to be cut so far. It's just more work. Well, at least this is my last game using flash, I will try unity or something else in the future.

The secret character graphics will be added together with the ending graphics. I should be doing them after the sex scenes. The requirement to see the secret scene is to romance all the characters in a single playthrough. It will not be that hard though.

As expected, Lavanda's MBS is epic! Just when I thought no-one could get taller than Masara! XD I guess she wouldn't be one to be outdone. Fantastic work yet again! I like the new navigation screen too, it makes it easy to tell at a glance where each girl is (for those who haven't played through the various betas a few dozen times already, anyway ;) ) and what your current romance level is with each of them, as well as giving a nice little visual preview of each area. It definitely gets a thumbs up from me! It sounds like you're not loving the idea of going back to the text, but on the plus side at least you'll probably run into a few less coding problems. ;p And it'll be cool to eventually have some dialogue to go along with these awesome muscle growth sequences too. Don't worry, I'm sure it'll be over before you know it! But on noes! The girls really did get so big they broke the game!! I'm afraid I know nothing of Flash or how to publish a SWF file or anything like that, so I'm not sure what to do with that FLA file there. But I'd certainly be happy to help out if anyone can explain it. I guess in a way though if you ended up having to split the game up it'd almost make it even *more* like the real ones! At least this time we won't need a motion comic to fill in the choices for the first act depending on which system you played them on. ;p

Only question I have now (and sorry if it's already been answered) but when are you going to add the secret character, and what is going to be required to unlock them?
