Updates: Brute Force, Stickers, Spear of Destiny Audio

Damn, what a couple of weeks it has been. You may have noticed that Brute Force updates were paused. The short version is that I'm not happy with it yet. The first third of the book is drafted, but there's a lot of character building and story 'spine' to establish before I feel confident sharing more of this new series. I tend to write/create in bursts, so this isn't unanticipated (by me and my spouse, at least: she is very familiar with my patterns). 

I had intended to get right on that, but I have had to prioritize Spear of Destiny. Justin at Soundbooth Theater wants to start recording at the beginning of May, which I'm sure nearly everyone will be happy about - the problem being that I need to do a bunch of edits on Spear of Destiny prior to sending it to the studio. I have been ardently editing issues large and small in that (huge!) book, and once it's done, I will ask Amazon to push through these major changes to everyone who already owns an ebook copy.

In the meantime, two other goodies are underway: the Archemi map has been professionally and beautifully scanned in by a good friends of ours, which means it's ready for the digital work to be done on it - typography fixes, labels, etc. In addition to that, I have been investigating die-cut chibi Karalti stickers for all Patrons. I've found a company and am awaiting their sample pack to proof their stickers for color and quality. If they're up to par, I will be having those made as a small gift to you all.

While all this is going on, I'm working with a new artist to re-cover Archemi and cover Brute Force when it comes out. I'm also in the planning stages of Archemi #6. Its working title is Blaze of Glory, with prospective titles for the remaining 4 books as follows:

Book #7: Prince of Knives (definitely)

Book #8: Herald's War (maybe)

Book #9: Queen of Heaven and Earth (probably)
