New Authorsona: Griz T. Orc

When I first got started on Amazon, I took a look at which authors were selling and which weren't. At the time, men and women seemed to vastly prefer buying book's written under a feminine pen name, so I went with that. Setting up the patreon, I stuck with the same alias.

With The Taming of the Fairy Queen coming out this month, I'll be trying a new authorsona, Griz T. Orc, and I'll be switching to that as my main online identity. The Kimiko Petaway character will remain as a mascot, similar to Zone's Zone-tan and Slugbox's Cteno, but feel free to refer to me as Griz. Or Mr. Orc. Or whatever you prefer.

If the change is a dealbreaker for you, that's perfectly alright. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support up until now. I appreciate it all more than you can know.

If you're going to stick around, I'm back on track with writing new projects, and I promise to have something fun to show you all by the end of next week. Until then, take care!

Five months later, and stumbling upon this again sure was a trip down memory lane... When I supported this Patreon, "Kimiko" asked about my thoughts on "her" books in private... I told Griz that I wasn't a fan of the subject matter (kinda rapey for my tastes, but great for those who like that) and so hadn't read them and didn't plan to. I just wanted to financially support a fellow sex-positive female erotica author who acknowledged the appeal of shortstacks... At that moment, he choose to not tell me he wasn't actually who he said he was, and I don't know if it was because of guilt or greed, but I hope it was the former... I'm still sad to this day that I was lied to by someone I liked and admired, and that I was paying money to him based on a lie that he simply could've explained to me from the start... I would've understood his reasons, kept paying him as thanks for the honesty and honor, and even kept it a secret so he could continue to utilize his marketing strategy to better fund his passions... Instead, I just feel like I was taken advantage of...

I suggest a short story on the handover of writing duties from Kimiko to Griz.
