General update

On to the more serious part of this update. For around 6 months now on an almost daily basis some teens have been hitting our front door and windows in various ways. This has been incredibly scary and has taken an obvious toll on my mental health. Last week it reached the point where I ended up calling the police. Without video, photographic evidence and/or property damage, they can’t take it any further. So I’m still very stressed and frightened with no resolution in near sight.
Apologies for the choppier content regularity, but the fear is affecting my anxiety condition in a huge way which is having knock-on effects to various parts of my life.

You should have called them sooner. Thats what they are for. Its a shame you have no evidence. You can try ask your neighbours or try to record them if you have the posibility. Try to put a webcam in those windows. If its on daily basis, you will get your evidence soon. Whats the most importand part, don't open the door nor window and start shouting at them. Thats what bullies are mostly after, the reaction. Keep calm and collect evidence.

2024-08-26 23:46:44 +0000 UTCSounds like harrasment. Have you discussed this with your neighbours? It's unlikely but they might have their own cameras and by extension have footage of what has transpired. Can't hurt to ask.

I'm also shocked that the police wouldn't pursue that further because if it's been six months and they've been hitting your front door and windows, I can't imagine there wouldn't be ANY damage. Hopefully you're able to get that resolved soon and get back some peace of mind!
