A perspective on Sabotage and question for Patrons new and old

Hey guys,

Hope you’re all doing well. I just wanted to post a bit of an update on Sabotage. You all voted a few weeks ago to have Sabotage continue weekly until it’s conclusion. Well, I just wanted to put some perspective on what that means.

Before writing Sabotage, I knew it was going to be my longest and most planned out story yet. Yes, I hate to admit, but I would sometimes start a story with a good concept and no idea where it will go. I think that has shown in some of my work, and I wanted to remedy that and give all of you better stories. So with Sabotage, when a patron just like you pitched me the story, I knew it was an excuse to get onto a better track.

Sabotage is mapped out from begin to end. This shouldn’t be something crazy, but you should know that for a lot of fetish writing (not just myself), this is somewhat uncommon. Stories are crafted to have at least something “hot” or “fetish-related” every chapter, which can sometimes mean the story comes second to the sexual appeal of the writing. A lot of this is what I picked up while writing for Alerted, which some of you may or may not know that I did for a few years.

Back to Sabotage though. I have a 5 page document of nearly 50 plot points I want to hit throughout the story. As of #11, we had only gotten to point 15. Some of these points will be covered one per chapter, some of them are multiple, and many get added all the time as the story evolves and becomes even better.

Sabotage #12 is in the books awaiting release on Thursday. It gets up to plot point 17, and is the start of things really kicking into gear for Serina and Breanna.

Now the point of this post: I’m looking for feedback.

New patrons: Are you finding it accessible to join and catch up to the current ongoing? Right now it’s only 11 chapters, but if it were at 25, 30, would you be intimidated to start reading given that each chapter is a minimum of 1000 words? (This is part of the reason why I do one shots by the way)

Long time patrons: How are you enjoying the new, longer form of story? Have you noticed and increase in quality of writing? What would you suggest to get even better?

I look forward to hearing from all of you.

Thanks,

YYND

Yeah I used to alternate weekly but once a month is better for me (keeps me in the world), and I'm glad people are vibing with it as well. I think for newer patrons the one shots are necessary though, because Sabotage is practically a novel at this point and will be a legit novel by the time I'm done with it! 😂

I started following you for longer, well written stories. The one shots are nice and all but a lot of captions are equally as easy to access. A long week written story is worth it though. Always has been.

For me as long as the stories are planned and don’t suddenly seem very unrealistic then I love the longer stories!

Thank you for your feedback! I was thinking if this gets longer, should I introduce back the one shots but as a once a month thing?

I'm enjoying this story a lot. I can definitely tell it's been planned, and has a steady escalation between the two. I personally like the mix of longer stuff and one-shots.
