I don't think it's that Midoriya is not as talented, as such. But he is not as physically gifted as All Might (who was much bigger and more athletic and therefore took to it more easily). But Midoriya is a lot smarter than All Might. I think that's what makes him so likeable. It isn't just that he has a big heart, he's also analytical and intelligent. That's also what makes Bakugo such a good foil for him, as he is equally sharp, but unlike Midoriya, he keeps his heart hidden!

Of course, I was in the same boat. Honestly, Bakugo never really bothered me, he was so over the top that I kinda saw him as comic relief for a bit, and I was used to that intense rivalry from other shows too.But I do feel like after reading the manga I liked him a lot more, and I hope some of the people who dislike him can at least acknowledge the development he’s getting and will get.

The thing about Bakugou is that he is supposed to be hated but his character is so well written that people ended up loving him. He's amazing at everything except being a decent human being. This blend of human flaws and a righteous goal (becoming a hero) is what makes him so appealing. His development is slow and so subtle that people tend to miss it and misunderstand him which leads to disliking him. Ofc he's not for everyone but this is usually the case with him.

Not true. I started as an anime only and then read the manga and have always loved Bakugou. This has been the same for a large majority. Ofc there are people who dislike him too.

The love for Bakugo usually comes from the manga readers because how much he develops in the later arcs. And Horikoshi even said that he feels he made Bakugo a bit to intense in the beginning.

I don't think this is a spoiler, but All Might is basically training Midoriya the same way he was trained. It's just that Midoriya is not as talented. Though, as you can saw from this episode, those concerns about him debilitating himself every time he uses OFA will be addressed at some point.
