Nice ! Great to see a new reaction to Black Sails. Lots of good stuff to come :) Also, your probably aware by now, but the show is partially a prequel to Treasure Island, featuring John Silver, Captain Flint and others. Mixed in with that is a lot of actual historical pirate figures like Jack Rackham and Vane. However the show tells it's own story so the Treasure Island knowledge is not necessary, though its fun for people aware of it to spot relevant characters and get an origin/background story for them.
