The reason why they were focusing so much on iris is because they are going to be doing the DC rebirth storyline from the comics. So at the end with iris getting taken is the beginning of that. In the comics on the rebirth earth Iris is super fierce ( also might call her a bitch for a lil bit) but thats how she is in the comics, she's independent and her and barry haven't even got together in the rebirth comics, so im sure they will show that on the show as them fighting alot but I do not think they will make them get divorced no way. But I just wanted to warn you that this season might not be your favorite since it will be focused on Iris a lot because of the rebirth comic storyline, look it up if your more interested. but I hope u continue to watch no matter watch. : )
