It was definitely an eye opener to see how she was in this episode especially after all the praise we have been heaping on her

2023-02-21 19:19:01 +0000 UTCThe interesting thing with Katara is she can be immature in really.... selfish ways. Which is bizarre because rarely would you describe Katara as selfish, but it seems when she wants something, she'll do anything to get it, whether it's compromising on her own moral ideals, or putting her friends in danger, or a few other examples that didn't come up in this episode (don't want to spoil after all lol). Sometimes I agree that it was necessary, but most of the time it just seems pure selfishness. At the end of the day, she is 14. She's going to have her immaturities. but some people, and even the show at times, paint her almost like some saint, and she isn't.
