Ik this comment was posted ages ago but I think that comment from pearl ironically means herself as she constantly needs someone to give her directions and she was clinging onto garnet while saying that too.

This show has more bombshells than a WWII minefield (I see you just got to Mirror Gem!) Hopefully you'll get to enjoy the full experience for all of them.

So much pressure on Steven, and Pearl babbling emotionally about "clinging directionless things lost without her guidance" as though she meant the Gems more than the brambles. Connie popping out her pink lenses was the perfect ending since she's the one person there who doesn't see Steven through Rose-colored glasses. :)
