Just to add here: Fleabag. Two short seasons. Very very good. Huge departure from fantasy/sci-fi though.

The problem with a series is, if you pick the wrong one (i.e. one that I'm not all that keen on) then it's a long wait before you move onto one that I'm interested in. You're doing GoT and Stranger Things right now, which are great for me. They're both excellent and I've been meaning to re-watch them, so perfect opportunity; if you had decided on The Walking Dead, I would have been into it up to a certain point, but then, for me, it loses its way (and drags on for quite some time beyond that). The two best series I've ever seen are The Sopranos and The Wire, they are well worth a go - but lots of episodes, a huge commitment, and for you I suppose it really depends on what your subscribers want. Another potential idea to consider is a "limited series", where you know you can get to the end of it within a decent timeframe. Some excellent examples: Chernobyl, True Detective (there are several series of this, but they're different stories/characters. The first season is phenomenal), Queen's Gambit, The Haunting of Hill House. I would also suggest (these aren't suggested in most places): 24 (one season at a time, see if you/subscribers enjoy it), and also Life on Mars (buddy-cop series with a fantasy twist - very good).
