Yeah it's a common pattern isn't it but I agree that I like the way it's done. It builds up the excitement when you start to see the groups come together.

2025-10-14 07:06:25 +0000 UTCStranger things does tend to follow a pattern where there are multiple investigations happening at the same time done by different little groups of characters all pulling on separate threads of the exact same thing and then coming together in one way or another to share collected information and take on the problem together. It works though. I know it helps me digest everything when it comes in bits and then it all gels at the end of every season. I do agree that this season is a lot brighter in aesthetics and lighting, but far darker in themes and story line than the previous two. And I have to say something about the performance that Dacre (Billy) gives. MVP for me this season.

2025-10-13 20:44:24 +0000 UTCWhile the other seasons had their own “darknesses” explored for sure (esp season 1), this season definitely hits hard in the “oh, this is actually really horrible and sad” department. Can’t wait for more! Do you guys have a plan on cranking out the rest before season 5 drops? No rush if not.
