Just an aside... It wasn't an act when Billy was crying in the sauna. He was still himself. He didn't become megabilly until the Flayer activated him, which didn't happen until Will felt it in the back of his neck.

2025-10-22 07:40:36 +0000 UTCAhhhh this episode gets me every single time. I think a lot of the actors obviously deserve SO MUCH credit for their prowess in this episode and this season as a whole. For me, personally, this season really showcased the abilities that Sadie Sink (Max) and Dacre Montgomery (Billy) have under their belts. Dacre plays Billy's simultaneous fear and possession so well, it's INSAAAAANE. And watching Max realize that, while Billy might still be there partially, he's actually being used as a pawn in the Mind Flayer's game is soooooo painful for me. She's truly one of my favorite characters in this show. Robin's introduction this season is also an amazing addition! Y'all have said it yourselves, but yes, this show really doesn't miss when adding new characters. This season is just... so fun and also heart breaking at the same time. Can't wait for more, per usual!
