2023-06-26 12:49:15 +0000 UTCRE: Peridot's popularity. I came late to this show. I was shown it by my housemates, who were already fans. Even back when Peridot was playing a villain role, I kept saying things like: "I don't think we're supposed to like her, I get that she's a villain, but I *really* like her." Then, when it became clear that she had indeed been slotted for a sympathetic role all along, they all made fun of me for thinking that I was sooooo unusual in my affection for her. Indeed, I'm painfully basic.
