2023-07-24 13:15:57 +0000 UTCyeah, remember back at the season premier of Book2 Earth; Roku told Aang that if you're killed in the avatar state, the cycle will be broken. That means that you aren't invulnerable while in that state. When Aang let go of his earthly attachments and became a fully realized avatar, his back was turned and Azula shot him with lightning(a Nickelodeon show isn't gonna show that shot, I've noticed a few reactors get confused when this scene comes up). If you rewatch that scene, when Aang is falling, you see lightning burn marks on Aang's foot and his back as electric current travels throughout the body and will burn the tips of your appendages. Interestingly, in the same premier episode, we are also introduced to the water from the spirit oasis that has "special properties."
