The best theory I've heard about Steven's conception is that effectively Rose shape-shifted a womb around her gem and the gem served as an egg? I assume that his birth would've looked similar to fusion though. Bright light, morphing shapes, then Rose is gone and Steven is there?

I’m really excited to see how you guys dissect the Diamond’s behaviors and relationships as we move on! Her sympathizing with Greg was also soooo interesting to me. Very much conspiratorial as others said, but also a weird condescending pity toward him, a human. I just adore Blue’s VA. Lisa Hannigan does phenomenal stuff and has such an elegant singing voice.
