I was going to ask if you'd missed Room for Ruby, but I see that you caught it in the next installment. Good, good! The opening of the next season (which I see you've reached) could seem a bit plot-holey without that one. It's amazing how utterly *unsettling* I found seeing Onion so obviously afraid of something.

2023-09-05 18:19:45 +0000 UTCYisss. Welcome to the next arc! Banger after banger here. Yet another exploration of Steven’s complicated feelings of grief n idolization of Rose and some Doug time! I really liked what they did with his character. It delights me how much Connie’s parents have developed despite them not being at the forefront of the show. His friendship with Connie has really helped them blossom into better parents. I still assume he was silly before, but they seemed so straight laced when they were first introduced that I also have to wonder if all these changes didn’t also make him loosen up to try and be more fun dad in energy. I also like how telling it is that Onion was *scared* of something.
