I'm a bit late to respond here, but this was the biggest episode that kinda showed this odd selfishness in Katara. How she's willing to compromise on her own morals to get what she wants. Like I said before, it's always been weird to call Katara selfish, but I think this is just an immature selfishness that she would grow out of as she became an adult and less controlled by her emotions.
