Then you guys need to watch the Spongebob movie which is the canonical end of the series. However Nickelodeon kept the show going but with a different writer for the show after. Seasons 4 and 5 are not bad but definitely are not the same as the original seasons. Anything after that the series goes extremely downhill and in my opinion is an absolute disgrace to the show and just a cash grab
