I’m so happy to see you getting right into it, but some L’s must be taken: Bumi was the crazy Earthbender King of Omashu with the rock candy and Aang’s 112 year old best friend. Tenzin called his Sky Bison Oogi. It’s also got yellower fur, stripes on its tail, and narrower horns like a bull. Aang must’ve bred Appa with a related species to save the Sky Bison from extinction. Not an L but a fact: there’s official Avatar graphic novels that basically follow what Season 4 of ATLA would have been. Zuko’s mom is one of them. Absolutely worth your time if you miss the classic gang.
