Why I Give a Fuck About Pantone
Added 2018-01-08 09:37:35 +0000 UTCPantone announced that the color of 2018 is Ultra Violet and I'm unreasonably excited about this fact. At the start of 2017, I learned that this was a thing that this color company does. Last year was Greenery, and very quickly I took inspiration from it. I dedicated the year to Poison Ivy, to expanding my carnivorous plants, and really connecting with my Slytherin side. These were all things of Green to me, and this meaningless assignment of color gave me a direction to point my energy into. I had a focus for every time I felt that creative energy burn without reason.
So this year, Ultra Violet it is. I've kicked off the year with a purple manicure sharp enough to sting. The Cabaret of Evil's theme will be Good vs Evil, Tails from the Morgue will bring spook into every season, Fetish Multifarium will continue to grow (more private parties!), and I, Morgue Anne, am going to harness the power of the cosmos to make it happen. This year, my totems will be Maleficent and Ursula. I will soar in the purple-black of Crow feathers.
It's gonna be a banner fucking year.
