I’ve seen this episode but I did not remember the twist of Fry being a robot as well. You guys missed the joke “Hasta la vista Weiner.” Also, the show had a smaller writing team compared to the original series, probably due to Comedy Central being tight asses.

They kept meddling, moving the show around, fighting with Matt Groening (who had way more freedom with The Simpsons). Considering how much everyone else wanted to revive it, the cancellation was definitely a mistake!
