It was crazy and it was packed like that then too. But I remember Live aid. It was huge with how it was broadcasted around the world. You could see it even in Finland from tv and that was rare. Specially because we had like two channels back then that you could watch. So for them to give the concert screen time was a big thing.

He was not diagnosed with AIDS until several years after Live Aid in real life, and the band had been back together and fully practiced for quite a while also, but that doesn't take away from this performance. This was an epic and historical concert! From what I understand, Elton John was next to perform and didn't even want to follow up with this.

They have such a range of styles from hard rock, to disco, to rockabilly, and even heavy metal with opera styles thrown into their music. Also their song writing ability is undeniable.
