WE GOIN LIVE, PICKIN THE TOP 10 CADENCE HEAVY SONGS

Comments

Fine Line, Baby, Evil Twin, Groundhog Day, Rhyme or Reason... just a few honorable mentions.

Mohammed Amarneh

A little late but should have listened to “drop the bomb on em”

justin Brock

I always looked at cadence as how it sounds in tandem with the tempo, not just the tempo? The Rhyming tempo on Gnat was better an faster syllables but Medicine Man had great rhyming tempo but sounded better, to me… if it’s only tempo an faster syllables, then my list doesn’t reflect that.

Above the Law & Raw are fire too! Forgot about Bad Meets Evil & tbh Idk how but I never heard RAW!?

kdub175

I think I would go : “Medicine Man The Way I am Walkthrough Not Alike Soldier Till I collapse Bitterphobia Buffalo Bill Stay Wide Awake Go To Sleep”

kdub175

Lucky You

Brian

Exactly. His flow, his hunger, his attitude, storytelling, and his songs were better than than they are now. Which is what I find important in hip-hop. Complex bars about heavy duty bootys don’t cut it for me. Young Em>old Em in every way.

caleb

I hope you go live today for the Rise&Fall of SH album!! That shit is SLAPPIN 🔥

kdub175

Of course it's all subjective, but to me, the "smoothness" of Em's flow around 2000-04 has never been matched by anybody, including modern Eminem. We could also include his delivery/presence on the mic.

Dall24

Both young and old Eminem are phenomenal but the only thing younger Eminem did better than older em is make a better song. Strictly talking rapping ability he is better in every way now days. Rapping ability 2013-2022 em >

Hayden

Baby and Detroit vs everybody 😫

Hayden

Vegas instead of 3am 🤔

Daniel Bjørnholm

Baby is sooo 🔥 with cadence. He missed best parts of kings never die. Fine line is dope too, missed best part there too lol. Too many.

Gary Raffa

Daniel Bjørnholm

How is no love and right for me not on the list😭

Kamryn Kahoonei

Em’s verse in Homicide. And Never Enough

Tom Zoeter

That looked like a lot! Great final list! Won’t be too late to watch live at UK time either, looking forward to it! See everyone there!

ClaireyElizabeth

I’m not actually joking when I say the whole MMLP could be on the list for his best cadences.

Finicher

STEVIE if you see this see if you feel phenominal is worthy, quite disappointed its not even in the suggestions, most seem to pick all of his most recent stuff which arent even his best cadence wise

Joe Mcauley

Till hell freezes over

Micah Anderson

Very disappointed in the Em fans on here, you gave him a lot of lame tracks. Y’all picked mostly newer Em songs which says a lot about how much hip hop yall listen to. Ems old tracks have way more impressive cadence and flow, it just isn’t as easy to notice as some of his new shit because it used to be unorthodox. A lot of his new stuff is either a fast flow or a choppy flow, which isn’t as impressive imo.

caleb

Infinite

Chris

I don’t think 8 mile road is even too 50 lol but there’s just too many

Hayden

Damn skipped straight the the best cadence part in fine line

Hayden

Daz

Jorge Heredia

Psychopath Killer!

Eden

Stay wide awake, MARSH and The Way I Am are all cadence heavy tracks. 2009 Westwood Microphone freestyle is great too. But there are so many it’s tough.
