Sound of Violence would have been such a great title between the fact it's about mass shootings and the play off Sound of Silence. I wish he would of went with that, but Darkness was a good title too

"Emotional flooding" is often the term and I empathically felt for him when I saw it unfold online. I did not understand and thought: "The man poured his heart out, disclosed personal traumas, personal self-reflections for his own healing.... and people (his colleagues) dared to say it was 'trash'. To disclose trauma aftermath is a courageous thing, to be hit with backlash is considered "retraumatizing the victim". Its simply cruel and insensitive. Often resulting in further damage. My pride, respect and excitement skyrocketed with Chloraseptic Remix😮👊🏻💃🏻🔥. I thought, that's the incredibly resilience man we all admire. He just therapized himself through writing, expressed it and carried on🥰

2022-09-17 02:12:17 +0000 UTCthe fact that the revival backlash literary triggered a trauma response in Em and it made him feel like when he was a kid and his abusive mom belittled him. that's literally a ptsd response (I have it too). It’s fucking sad and especially because it’s completely unwarranted.. revival wasn’t a bad album by any means.. people just love jumping on hate trains🤡 he had a lot of personal stuff on that album that he needed to get off his chest as an artist and having peoples shit on that must have been horrible. especially for someone like him :(
