But I love hip hop because it has more layers than rock. You can debate who has better lyrics in rock but at the end of the day if the song doesn’t sound good in rock, the debate of the art and the artist is over because there clearly is a lack in talent. But in hip hop, there is more layers. The concept of taking a beat and adding your words and rhymes as instrumental cadence to fill The holes the beat is missing to turn a beat into a harder beat is all Based on the talent of the rapper. Right now hip hop is in its state because society wants to listen to what sounds good. And what Em shows with wack beat tracks is : “look world anyone can take a beat that is so awesome and hard and fill it with practically nothing and it will sound good and they will be loved.” But I can take these wack ass beats that people wouldn’t listen to and fill my incredible rhyme and cadence, oh and if you play it back 100 times you’ll also catch oh just how creative and sick my mind is, and make you forget the beat because my cadence takes over. My love for rock and classic rock is why songs like Shady XV, bezerk, so far, in your head, and Fine Line are some of my favorites because he took “wack beats” that Stevie and the hip hop world doesn’t fuck with that are actually songs I love and he turned it into a better song by adding his cadence to make these bangers even better. Off my Stan box tho lol. Great content Stevie!

I know he does a lot of classic rock samples that I know you don’t seem to fuck with as much. But yeah your vid’s are helping me like revival more.
